We are conducting admissions for our July 16, 2024 class.
(Our January class begins January 15, 2025 and admissions will begin in August 2024.)
The application period for our July class is February - June 28, 2024.
To qualify for the July 16, 2024 cycle youth must have a date of birth between 7/17/2005* and 12/10/2008**.
Cadets live on campus for 22 weeks.
AMYA is located on JBER (Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson-just outside Anchorage) To qualify you must be between the ages of 16 and 18 on the start of the cycle-or- if **15, must turn 16 prior to the graduation date. **This is Director Discretion. *Some 19 year olds may qualify with a waiver- these youth must complete application process at least 30 days prior to the scheduled start. You must reside in Alaska and, if under 18, have a parent/guardian also residing in Alaska.
This program is tuition FREE!
